Zilla easily walked past the guards without much trouble. She set up a little area with her notebook and pen. She would spend the next few hours combing the archive for something useful. What little she did find was practically useless, still she wrote everything down. Few dragons bothered her. Those that did, she easily got to go away. She eventually resorted to asking the archives keeper. They said they would look into it, but doubted they would find anything. Zilla returned to her notebook and looked over her notes. It all seemed like basic knowledge. Though obviously stuff she hadnt known but likely nothing new to Skaaul. She took a deep breath then walked off to continue searching as she waited to hear something from the archives keeper.

He was still sitting in the garden, watching as young dragons were playing next to their parents and older dragons were taking strolls around the area. He was still woryed for Zillia, the archives should be somwhat safe for her but he coudn't stop himself from worying. He had hear of some old tapestry depicting the first golden flame bearer but he was very doubtfull that the royal familly would just let anyone look at it.

The archives keeper eventually came up to her. They handed her a journal that she hadnt seen during her searching. She took it back to the table and began to study it. The cover was mildly scorched and half the pages were torn. There was even evidence of a few missing pages. The first half she could easily read what wasnt torn but it gave her little information. More towards the end of the first half, every entry seemed shorter and somewhat rushed. In the second half though, it was clear it had not been written by the original journals owner, both because of the handwriting and that it was in a different language. She did recognize it but did not know it well enough to understand what was being said. She quickly carried the book to the keeper and asked if she could borrow it for a few days. They asked her a few questions but eventually agreed. They wrote her up a pass so the guards would not stop her then Zilla was on her way. She gathered up her supplies and left. She weaved through town to the fountain at its center and quietly waited there. She continued to look over the book. This time she paid special attention to the dates. She took note that the oldest entry was nearly 60 years old. Though she was not completely sure, she was fairly sure the most recent entry was about 40-30 years old. She looked up and around to see if Skaaul was anywhere in sight.
(Sorry about all that.)

Zilla smiled. There ya are! I am sorry, but I found nearly nothing. Except this but I cant translate the last pages. she said, holding up the journal. She opened it up to the first page in the other language. I know a little about the language, but not nearly enough. She said.

His eyes narrow slightly at the sight, he was a bit rusty with that language but he knew he had been forced to learn it as a child so he could understand the just of if. "This seem to be an old diary but part of it dosn't add up with the whole thing, it make alot of reference to the old king so we may just have found the diary of a high graded guard or somthing. It could be very usefull ..."

Well I knew it was a journal. I could read the first half of entries, and a few talked about the golden flame, but but towards the end of the first half they got shorter then someone else took over the journal. She said. She sighed. This would be rather hard to translate.

Elenor grinned, anticipating the battle that was about to ensue. Oh, she was spoiling for a fight. This was, finally, her chance.
But then she got that infernal Fire Bringer's scent on the wind again, and she growled in frustration. Then she stopped. Nothing wrong with a little warm-up.
"You go on ahead. I'll catch up," she said to Cesura, padding away and disappearing into the crowd.
She quickly realised that Skaaul had just been here, but must have flown off because the scent went cold. This would be harder than she had inticipated. She padded off through the streets, taking random turns in the hope she would stumble upon his scent again.

" I am a bit rusty but i do understand part of it, it's an old language that is still used today by high graded guards and sutch when they want to keep information from the public." He glared at the pages, there was somthing about a ... shield? It came back often in the text yet the way it was writen didn't made sense, leading him to belive it was his knowlege that was wrong.

She continued her search, her head swivelling from side to side and her tongue flicking out occasionally.
