Absol nodded to the stranger, at least this person will actually help him find Valentine.
He turned to Doom and said, "Well I suppose that we will have to hold off that battle until the day when we meet again."

(Well, just Sylver and Tonni now, Kai left to find Leo)

"Stupid liar! Why wouldn't he- why didn't he, he could've stopped this, or at least got us away!" Sylver shouted, slamming her face into the nearest wall.

"Well, lets go then, how strong are you exactly? mind if we have a battle to see how you are right now?" Angel requested, grabbing a Pokeball.

Absol simply signed and took a stance.

"The Pokemon I'm using isn't really mine, I know who she belongs to, but I don't know where he is, I'm trying to find him right now" Angel told him. He sent out a rather sad looking western Shellos "It's okay shelly, we'll find Kai, and Shello, this absol is looking for someone too, we're going to have a quick battle, alright?" He coaxed the shellos. She shellos nodded, then prepared to fight.

Absol used Night Slash then Psycho Cut in secession against the pink Shellos.

Shelly used a water pulse attack, followed by a mud bomb attack on the absol.

Absol first used Future Sight, then Psycho Cut. The first move made it only seem as though Absol was just using Psycho cut, Future Sight would come later in the battle.

(I don't know, lets not drag it on for too long though)

"Shelly, use counter please" Angel requested. The Shellos followed through with the attack. "Good job, now use water pulse please" He told the shellos gently.

Absol used Night Slash to break apart the Water Pulse then the Future Sight from earlier came and landed a critical hit on the Shellos.
