"Alright then. Hold on tight," he says, spreading out his wings and starting into a run. With a few mighty flaps you both lift from the ground, leaves swirling in your wake.

Skywhisper flies over the city walls, catching a thermal and rising higher into the sky. You turn and turn, climbing up and up, before he glides away from Elvenor and to the west. To the islands.

The wind is almost nonexistant - it should be a decent flight for today.

The egg bag feels like it isn't secure in your hands, and with the speed Skywhisper is going at, it is difficult to hold onto it and him at the same time.

There are plenty of bow and arrow sellers. Longbows, shortbows... even peculiar looking contraptions you know to be 'crossbows'. They're not usually around the Central territories - it was the Dwarves who invented them, and the Elves who traded for their blueprints. There are many arrows, and for the crossbows: bolts, at each stall.

You pick out two seperate vendors who appear the least edgy. One is a female who is comfortably sitting, engraving something into a bow. She isn't even watching the people who go past her stall, who could swipe something from her at any moment. Naive perhaps? Or sure of herself?

The other is a male who is currently bartering with another Centaur. The customer waves him away, laughing, and stalks off. Perhaps not the best goods are on sale... further investigation would be needed.

It's been a long time since you were last here, when you were but a young Dwarf ready to set out into the world to craft weapons and tools for people, but it seems as if you've never left. Vanguard's Grand Chamber echoes with the sounds of life - pickaxes striking stone, hammers forging tools...

Standing in the noisy underground marketplace, many prospects surround you. Which shall you seek?

The blankets Malindi gave you are soft and snug. The Wyvern is asleep by the fire, snoring softly.

Do you wish to rest now?

(Just so you know, as is standard for most roleplaying, you'd need to ask me if there are any bars around, or say 'I go to have a look for a bar'. As the roleplayer, you can't say that there is a bar. You need to tell me what you want to try to do and I will tell you what is there and if you can. Okay?)

You wake to the sound of stumbling hooves thudding against the floorboards.

"I said to just take a few baby-steps, not to try a full out run! You'll wake them up," you hear Malindi's voice hiss.

"Sorry," Balthur mumbles, and the steps are much lighter. But you're awake now, so it's a too late.
