The wind is blowing from the direction of the forest, cutting through your clothing with cold.

Hitari turns to the house. "I think. . .I'll go start a fire. Do you need something to eat?"

"That'd be great," Rin admits. He hasn't eaten since..... gosh, when's the last time he had something to eat?

"but-" she had so much evidence to argue her down about it but didn't have the energy to instead she ignore her words and got up dipping her feet in the water to cool them off

"Then I'll make something. . .I've got potatoes somewhere out back," Hitari says, walking around the house. A few minutes later, he comes back around, carrying five good-sized potatoes, and goes into the house.

He jumps off the branch, landing soundlessly on the ground, not disturbing a single blade of grass.

"That one is rare," she mumbles, patting the cougar's head. "She doesn't know exactly what would make her happy."

She grins. "But I know what makes you two happy!" Shiawase scratches the pup and cougar behind the ears at the same time. "Hehe."

Rin looks at Felix. Huh.... come to think of it, how did an owl survive with no prey to eat? Maybe he's just got a bad diet, and that's why he's so small? Or maybe he's just more special than I thought.....

"i can hear you and even if i do that's none of your business!you know nothing about me and never will" she growled under her breath digging her claws into the stone she hated when she made it seem like she was different from the others she no longer wanted to be here she grabbed her bag and things throwing it over her shoulder

Perhaps there were animals out here other than him? But, there would have been no place for prey to hide. . .and you seriously doubt the dietary needs of owls are any different here.

"Fire's going," Hitari calls, poking his head out the door. "What. . .are you still doing out there? You're gonna freeze to death. . ."

"Kanashimi," she whispers to herself. "You're going to keep an eye on her, right?"
