Recap?

( A lot of conversation, waiting for tomorrow when everyones on to have the "adoption* )

He was snapped out of his pained thoughts by his friends voice. "Hey buddy." , He smiled softly, releasing his throbbing side. He looked worried when he saw Nicolas's body language. "What's wrong?" . He stepped closer, ignoring his wound as he got ready to give him a hug.

Nicolas slowly stepped back, trying not to offend Mason by doing so. " N-nothings wrong Mason.. I am okay.. " He tried to smile, but he really couldn't pull it off no matter how he tried to act okay. He wasn't.. he had gotten whipped pretty hard, and was more then a little jumpy.

Wren and Kimani were both in a dusty room that no one had used for a long while. Kimani was laying on his back on top of a ratty blanket, while Wren was trying to redo the bandages over his right eye. It had been gouged out only a few days prior. Kimani hasn't said what happened, or who did it. Wren had tried and tried and tried to pry him open, but she was just as unlucky as everyone else when it came to that. Kimani never spoke.
Wren had bumped part of his eye socket, and his body spasmed with pain. His small scream echoed throughout the small hall.
"I'm so sorry, I'm trying to be gentle..." She said softly, tears in her eyes from doing this. Wren hated doing this. This hurt her heart in so many ways. Who could do this to a child? It made her shake with anger and sadness. Kimani would forever only have his left eye and an empty socket where his right used to be. Would someone adopt him? It made her worry in so many ways.

Elizabeth was wandering around, she had snuck some food out of the kitchen and was looking for children who were hungry and in need of something to eat. It was when she heard a scream and flinched slightly at the sound, yet still she followed it. When she came around to the room, she softly knocked on the door, awaiting a response if any would come. She assumed she had just been hearing things, though it could be something.

Wren jumped at hearing the knock on the door. Her heartbeat increased as she stared jumping to conclusions that one of the staff had found out and was going to hurt either her or Kimani even more. She got up and peeked through the crack of the door, and sighed in relief when she just saw Elizabeth there. She opened the door and smiled nervously.
"Thank goodness it's just you."
Kimani laid silently on the floor, his hands shaking from the burning in his eye socket. His expression flickered back and forth from indifferent to pain stricken

There's someone here. Someone....new.

'A man', Puyo thought as she pulled her hair in her signature twin buns. 'Are we finally getting out of here?' She shook her head, they were getting out, for sure. But, she had a horrible feeling in her gut, but it could be her starvation talking. Still, the feeling she had resonated in her mind, and through her soul, her entire body, in fact.

She shuddered as the thought lingered and as she heard the scream of agonizing pain. It was normal to her, she's screamed like that herself, but instead of staying put, she went to investigate like any curious 10 year old would do. She came across a door, one that she had never opened before, and knocked on it.

"Hello? Is anybody in there?"

( Lol, looks like 2 people ended up at the door. )

Elizabeth grinned, and she noticed Puyo beside her also curious about the door. " Heya Wren.. Kimani.. Puyo.. Are any of you hungry? I.. might of snuck into the kitchen and got some of the good stuff. " She said proudly, grinning happily. " Who else would I of been? Mr. tarven? " She chuckled, her usual nature of fearing nothing and no one coming through. She noticed Kimani in pain, but she tried not to pay attention.. she'd feel bad if she did.

Wren noticed Puyo as well, smiling gently at the both of them.
"Ha, if you were Mr. Tarven I don't think I'd be alive right now." She laughed a bit, wiping the tears from her eyes. Her expression turned worried again though. "You really shouldn't, I don't want you getting caught." She sighed and glanced back at Kimani.
"I'm not hungry, but Kim needs something better than watery soup to help him heal. Both of you should come in before one of the monitors sees us..." She said the last bit in a hushed voice.
Kimani sat up slowly, the bloodied bandages on his left side in a small pile. His fingers trembled slightly as he looked at a broken mirror to see the hole in his face. It made his stomach flip slightly. .....I look dead. Kim thought with a blank face.
