A quick note:
Hey there, guys! It's Lolo! Just wanted to say thanks for the amount of participation ya'll have put in! :)
I'd also like to apologize real quick for the delays in posts as well as initial mistakes. Sometimes, when I post, the system removes ellipses and "...", which means I go back and manually add them in an edit. It also takes some time between votes to write the new path, as I cannot continue fully until I know where we're headed next! Also, my house is a zoo, and I have several ducks, chickens, snakes, and a gecko that need daily attention on top of everything else I do, and with a poultry show coming up very soon I've been quite busy preparing. Today I also had to bring one of my pythons to the vet (who needs savings, right?) and I'm slightly frayed after all this XD
I love storytelling and writing (even if I am a bit self-critical), so I've really enjoyed this so far! I'd just like for ya'll to understand I haven't died if I'm a bit slow with the writing. So again, a big thank you! :3

Honestly take your time!
I love reading your work and would read it all day if I could but I understand that life is life and gets busy sometimes so you do you, alright? Don't worry or stress about the next goings-on in the story. Just get to it when you can and your readers will understand. Or well, I'll understand anyhow.
(Don't wish to speak for everybody.)
Best of luck to you with your life stuff! You sound super busy. o.o
I hope your Python is okay! And best of luck to you at the poultry show!

Day Three - Continued (V)
"Aurleon Log, day twenty-seven."
This tape is evidently a day after the first tape; the day before Riv disappeared.
"Aurleon fledglings are stretching their wings this morning. Should resume practice flights within the next few hours, at the most. Was checking around the tree for feather samples and came across this hole in the trunk. Looked like someone had taken a perfect, circular cookie cutter and just stamped it through. Never seen this happen before. I don't know of any creature strong enough to punch through a tree as thick as this, or do it so perfectly."
The tape is quiet for a moment, only the forest sounds echoing around.
"Will have Tellus investigate later."
The sound cuts completely, and the tape ends.
Perfect holes through a tree? They sound just like the ones that killed Eshmelle. Whatever entity this is, it must be able to do this somehow, and apparently, give it lasting effects.
"What do you think of it, Kit?"
Kit is busy chewing on your foot, no longer paying any mind to the recordings.
"Breakfast, then," you say, getting off the bed. You leave the tapes there.
While Kit happily consumes more turkey, you rummage around through the drawers in the kitchen. You aren't too hungry after the events of this morning, so searching for any means of contacting the other wardens mentioned is now your top priority. The only question is, where would Riv store any communication devices?
Your kitchen search yields nothing. The living room and supply closet are also devoid of anything useful. You glance at the door to the basement, which hides in the passage connecting the living room to the kitchen. You've never been down there before.
