Holly rotated her ears and slowly pulled and arrow from her quiver and notched it onto her bow string before creeping a little closer. after staying still for a moment she gently and quietly pulled up her bow anchoring her knuckle to her cheekbone and calming her breathing before taking a shot at the nearest one that provided a clean shot of the heart and lungs.

Zuni sheathed his new blades to either side his his belt and went back to Hopi, patting the stallion and lengthening the stirrups to a more comfortable riding length, also tightening the girth again. He mounted the stallion and trotted out of the town, avoiding massive crowds. He cantered along the west path until they'd crossing the bridge before letting Hopi gallop.

The arrow flies straight and true, hitting its target. The pronghorn lets out a cry and the rest of the herd scatters. The arrow hit the antelope in the lungs. It runs for a few paces before collapsing.

You spend until noon the next day butchering the animal and preparing its meat for travel.
