He said nothing as the man finished his statement. What was he a guard? He knew nothing about him! For all that man knew he was just a blacksmith looking for a place to work. Silas snorted a bit at being called comical as the man left. "Who's to say I won't stab you in the back?" The man growled once the centaur was out of earshot. Let him hear it, then maybe he won't pry so much for information he doesn't want to know.

~Roland~Ourorus Castle~Midday~
He was saved from this inevitability when another voice chimed in from behind him. "Pardon me your highness, but the coroner wishes to speak with you." Roland turned to see his personal attendant standing in the open doorway waiting for him. "Ah of course, thank you Jude." He hastily dismissed himself from the others and followed Jude outside and down the corridor out into one of the palaces many gardens.
Jude was roughly the same age as Roland though he was slightly shorter and limped noticeably on his right leg. (Appearance)
"What did he want to speak to me about?" Roland asked, was it possible that he had somehow raised suspicions already?
"Oh, nothing. I just came to rescue you from your sister." The young man said with a smile. The expression revealed a peculiar flaw in his features, his right eye was scarred. Not the area around it, but rather the eye itself was scarred on the inside causing his gaze to be unfocused and creating a ripple in the clear blue iris. "And for that I owe you my thanks." The king said as he took the man's hand and kissed it lightly, giving him a small smile. Jude simply frowned back at him.
The king sighed heavily and dropped his attendants hand. "You see right through me." He said. "Of course your highness, it's my job." Roland smiled once more, though this time it was a touch more genuine. "No need to tease me Jude, we're alone. The king said. "But you always look so embarrassed when I call you that your highness, it's rather cute I must say. Just then two maids walked past on the other side of a flowerbed giggled quietly to themselves. Roland hurriedly took a step back from Jude and straightened his robes. "You shouldn't say things like that, people might get the wrong idea."
Jude chuckled and put an arm around Roland's shoulders, taking the opportunity to whisper in his ear so that no one could overhear. "But in all seriousness, we need to discuss some things in private. Go to your study, I'll be there shortly." Releasing Roland, Jude waved goodbye and walked away in the opposite direction of where the kings study was. Letting out one more heavy sigh, Roland began making his way to his study his hand resting lightly on the cold metal of his sabre.

He wasn't really long for the world that night for he fell asleep not long after the confrontation with the centaur. Though he didn't sleep much at one time it was enough to get him by. Every little sound woke him, from the sound of the fire to the sound of the a leaf near him weaving in the wind. He was too jumpy, then why wouldn't you be if you were a wanted man? He woke before the sun and made his way about the small cave like area. After a quick scouting about he returned with a handful of Robin eggs which when cooked over the fire in a nearly blow shaped stone gave off a rather nice smell that seemed to fill the cave about them.

Holly sired at the smell of food her tail waving and her ears twitching. with a yawn she stretched and arose touching her toes before bouncing back upright seeming bright eyed and bushy tailed. " Well! Mornin' Boys... what ya got cooking?" she said playfully crouching down looking at the eggs. " ... Remind me to get us dinner...." she said condescendingly not looking at all impressed with his finds.

Eigus was already outside the cave when Marcurio returned. He stretched his limbs and tapped his hooves lightly on the soft ground. The two men didn't exchange any words with each other, last nights conversation seemed to be weighing heavily on the mans mind.
At the sound of the young felis's voice Eigus turned in her direction.
"There likely wont be any need for that miss. Kresh is only two hours walk from here."

"Just some bird eggs I came across." This was the best find he had made in a long time, who knows if he was t going to share there may have been enough to actually fill him up for one. What he would do for a meal that wasn't just some eggs, or something he had managed to snag along the way. A nice bowl of stew, or even a rabbit would be wonderful. He wasn't equipped for hunting such things though not with only a knife at his side.

The feline girl flicked her ears happily to the centaurs voice and turned to face him a bright smile on her face. " That true! But I don't really have any currency and from the looks of it many of us are in the same boat, though you would be the exception.... you seem more.....lucky" she said trying not to hint to much to her suspicions of him being more than meets the eye." Still! a little hunting trip in Kresh's boarders would be nice. " she said optimistically

Eigus shrugged a little at the comment. "My friend from last night, Lin. He gave me some gold for the trip but I'd prefer to save it where I can. Even if you're broke, in a town like this you could probably arrange to work for the meal instead. A little hard labour never did me any harm anyways." He said, continuing to present the facade of a naive traveler. The more he appeared to let his guard down around these strangers, the better for him.

Holly flicked her tail and tilted her head thinking before she began to mumble and ramble out a solution to her empty stomach and pockets " I guess I could bring in some game for the blacksmith, and have some extra on the side for dinner and take the pelts to the leather worker and allow him to take most of the share in exchange for a hood..... 3 rabbits and two deer should do the trick!" she said slamming her fist into her open palm as to seal her mental plan, shortly after her stomach growled. " But first I need to eat a snack .." She said with a smirk pulling a highly decorated blade from a hidden holster beneath her skirt type covering. She then ran her free hand through her hair and down to the tip of her long braid, a green glow illuminated her body for only a moment before she took to the trees without making a sound.
