Gelta was born originally to a stray named Ulik, who had briefly had a fling with a hunting dog. Ulik had four pups, Gelta being the third born. All his siblings died early from sickness, leaving only Ulik and Gelta.

Ulik didn't want to raise Gelta, so she abandoned him at his father's barn. Gelta's father was hostile towards him, often scratching or nipping the frightened pup. He was eventually abandoned by his father in hopes that Gelta would die from frostbite.

Luckily, Gelta was found by a travelling adventurer, Wildland. She took in the pup, unknowing he was not a Lupora, or Zolnixi. Gelta grew healthy under the warmth and love from Wildland, and now is being taught how to fight alongside his fellow pets.
