Rose was muttering by now and doodling.

Piper kept watch out the window counting how many people had red hats on.

Blood was in the kitchen now pouring stubborn soup into a bowl and cursing as the can cut into her hand. The only words that were heard clearly was: "Stupid.Can.Of.Cheekon.Saoup."

Sunburst was playing self thumb war.

"Ok, how does that feel?" Frost asked, screwing the cap on the bottle.

"Great." Sunburst sat up sparks flying of her bright yellow, orange, and red fur.

Frost smiled. "Good," She glanced down at her watch. "Is it really almost ten?"

"I guess." Sunburst said looking up at the clock. "We have extra bunks downstairs if you need a place to stay. Ru-- uh Blood won't mind."

"That would be nice, thanks," Frost said. She noticed that this was the second time in a row sunburst had stuttered over Blood's name, but assumed they were both pretty tired and dismissed the thought. She went downstairs and curled up on a bed, fell asleep in minutes.

That was close. Sunburst thought standing. She was a bit shaky but managed to trudge downstairs and lay down on a cot. She sighed and reached a hand under the cot and pulled out a flashlight. She changed the batteries in it and set it on the edge of the bed. She held her hands in front of it creating a story with shadows on the walls.

Sunburst awoke with a cramp in her wrist. She realized she had fallen asleep on her arm again.

Frost moaned and rolled over on her side. "Not now Jonas, It's too early," she mumbled.
