Er, Masterful Snare Trap, my bad. But yeah, haha. I was looking forward to getting some really rare monster as second in command, party-wise.

"Suddenly, I was a broken, poop-stained warrior in a pastel rocking chair gross sobbing into a puddle of dozens upon dozens of weird-looking tadpoles all chanting "Hungry, Restless, Derpy, Slow" on an endless loop."
OK, I literally laughed out loud at this sentence! The dog thought I was having a fit.
Edit: Let's see, I haven't quite finished my first year. The most embarrassing things that happened in my first few months here involve purchasing pets from other players.
I wanted to purchase this particular Qitari who wasn't set for public sale, so I messaged the owner. The owner said they would sell the Qitari to me for 5 gold, so which I eagerly agreed. However, when I tried to make the actual purchase, the set price was 5,000 gold.
Usually, I copy the last thing a player PMs to me in my reply, so the player doesn't have to try to remember what we were talking about. As I was composing a PM to the Qitari's owner to ask them to fix the price, I happened to look at the text of their offer to sell.
You guessed it. There was a "k" after that "5."
This was at a time when the most I had ever paid for a single Sylesti was 100 gold. After briefly freaking out, I decided that I had effectively given my word and must keep it, so I went rushing frantically through all the areas I had already completed once, grabbing stuff to sell. At the end of the day, I purchased the 5,000 gold Qitari, feeling very weird about it.
In the other incident, I had a Qitari project in mind (Qitaries again!), and went looking through Advanced Search for Qitaries with the traits I wanted, figuring to dye them. A few of those I wanted weren't set for sale, so I PMed the owners. One person who replied offered to sell me the stallion for a price that seemed rather steep, but he was so suitable otherwise I went for it.
Somehow or another I never got around to using dye on that Qitari, which turned out to be a good thing. See, I really didn't understand about Themed PB offspring...and it turned out I had been planning to dye a PB Maenad Qitari!
Oh, and for my first six months of playing, I almost always missed contest deadlines by exactly one day. Still not quite sure why.

Oh yeah, and I remembered you tried to trade/buy pets from me too, and I think it was one of your pet buying blunders that we properly met in XD

@SpaceElf1
Glad my stupidity could give you and your doggie some lulz. XD;
@NightbaneWolf
I probably did. At some point within the last couple days, I was like, "You know what, I need to expand my gene pool a little. *advanced search* Ah, yes, this'll do. All twenty of them."
I might one day have enough pretties of every shape and color to satisfy my hoarding desires. Maybe.
(Probably not.) <.<;;

Night, if I ever promise to buy a pet from you for 5k gold, I shall certainly pay it.
For example, there's that poor HW doe that you still haven't bothered to name...C'mon, she must feel lonely. I could pay you 5K gold for her right now, in fact.

You are probably right about how we met, Night, but I have no idea which pet-buying mixup it was; there were plenty!
Oh, and like most newbies, I initially thought that I could use a Mutator on an Offspring. OOops...
