She sighed. The aquarium now looked forbidding instead of inviting.

" It'll be fine. "

She shuddered then nodded. She swallowed hard then started for it

He followed, with Vix and Ash already there, waiting.

Lani mustered up a smile

" Alright, lets go! " Vix said, happily.

He swallowed the smalle amount of food he was eating. "She's right, I'm an investigative reporter. I was here to do a story on the large number of animals that have gone missing in the area. I figured I was going to be here a while picking up the details so I decided to rent here in town." He said looking to both parties to see if they approved.
"That's so cool! Do you write for the tv people?" Dexion asked happily nearly having cleared his plate.
"No, I write for a newspaper mainly though I have had some of my word published on air."
"Really?! Like what!" The silver haired man said. Crow put a hand on his to calm him some. "Oops...sorry."
"Well there was one about a boy who eliminated an entire drug cartel on his own. He was the only survivor of his family when the band came to collect their dues. That was my firsf big job." Clint looked up to see a look of horror spreading over Dexion's face.
"I-I knew I had seen you from somewhere. Y-you were there. I saw you. You were taking pictures as the fire got out of control. I-you were the one that found me. I-if it hadn't have been for you I would have died." The man said looking down at his lap. "I was the one that story is about."

Adwin shifted uncomfortably. She never liked serious situations. She also never did talk to Dexion about his past, so it was just as much of a shock to her. She looked at Crow, then Dexion, then Clint. She gulped. With a shaky hand, she picked up her wine glass and took three large sips.

Clint gave a surprised look. "Really?" He asked looking at the man. For the first time he noticed the silver tattoo running over the man's face. "It was you...I'm sorry I hadn't any idea."
"It's fine. I never got to thank you. If you hadn't been there that day I wouldn't be here now." Dexion said with a sad smile. "Let's not dwell on the past shall we?" There was a silence before Crow spoke.
"So Adwin how is your book coming along? Hopefully we have inspired any more frilly romance scenes like we did last time." He teased.
