It keeps floating afew inches from your hand.

"Just move your hand like your throwing, cupping your hand around the ring. Then just let 'er fly like a baseball. Oh and keep it spinning."

Aki made a throwing motion and spun it.

It flies through the air, then grows into a small twister, about a foot high and wide. It hovers for five seconds before disappearing.

"Nice! You're good, i didn't suceed till my fith time."

Aki blushed . "Thanks."

"Hey, with some training you might end up one of those missions-they only let the good people who know what they're doing go, and you definitely seem like the kind."

"Oh." She wasn't sure whether that was good or bad.

"Oh great. You're saying I'm gonna have to deal with HER next?" a boy growls from behind you.

""Wayne Andrews, if you think you're going on another mission you probably did get hit on the head by a rock." Orkha snips back.

You turn around and see a good-looking (mostly) guy scowling at the two of you. "Of course I'll get choson. I have the money, you don't. I have theinfluence, you don't. I have-"

"You have a big ego." Orkha fiishes.

"So what? I know things that even that book-headed cousin of yours doesn't. As for your friend, no offense but new kids are never picked."

"Aki's a better elemental then you ever were and anywya, you already forgot that Troy got picked for a mission even though he's only been here a month!"

"Uh huh. Small detail. Rare occurance."
