Rin sighs hard. "No. Not much. I was.... well, it was hard my whole life, what with the people that hated me, feared me, and wanted me dead. Things finally started going well for me, though I'm not sure quite why. Then I woke up here, and.... well, all hell broke loose."

"Well, I suppose. . ." Hitari thinks for a second. "Physically, it hasn't changed much. . .it's just a bit more barren. . .but you already know that. . .all the people, the animals. . .they're gone. For the most part, I guess."

He glances at Felix. "Still surprised there was a bird alive."

Felix opens his eyes and hoots at Hitari, then goes back to sleep.
"I can't imagine this place.... with, you know, life in it. It's so barren, it feels like it's always been that way," Rin muses.
