Lets go, I get up and follow Shootingstar.

(Nice - and again, yeah, no worries. I actually loosely based my proficiencies from Grapejuice's Dragonverse RP, so it's not original anyways xD)

"Well get this stew in the two of you, warm you right up," he says, ladling the said stew into bowls like before, and giving the Wyvern the rest. He gobbles it up, not caring about how hot it is. He must be starving after pulling the cart through the night.

As long as he doesn't burn himself he'll be fine. NIcote chuckles to himself.

You make it there without much trouble; there may be lots of people, but they're moving through pretty quickly. There are plenty of guards, each checking carts in pairs, so things don't stop for more than a few seconds.

A guard looks you and Skywhisper over, immediately noticing the Griffins coveted egg. "Adopting are you? I did the same - only one of them hatched though. But my daughter loved the little runt all the same. He grew up to be just as big as the rest." He waves you through the gate. "Safe travels - hope your egg hatches."

You travel through the day, the sun warm and shining. The weather is much different to what it was before - granted that you probably caused the erratic behaviour.

At around midday you come across a river.



It's wide but quite calm. And it's in your path. Crossing it is the only option - which will be tricky. You're going to have to hope that there is a bridge or a ferry somewhere nearby on the bank. Or you could swim. Depends on the risk you want to take.
