"Oh dear," Thydial murmurs. "We must've stepped into its territory..."

I run away, hopping on Yuuki's back and gently digging my heels into her sides, encouraging her to go down the left path instead.

Hearing that my eyes widen in alarm and I dash for the girl with my whip. Signaling for Lady Odette to distract them, I grasp my whip and try to rip it out of her hands. If that fails I mentally ready my self for a fight.

She bucks under you, almost throwing you off of her. Behind you, the Vulnyx growls menacingly. Thydial backs up into you two by accident, spooking Yuuki even more.

I sigh, its obvious I'm not going to win in a fight and I dont want Lady Odette to get injured. I decide to back down and let them talk.

The Vulnyx chomps the treat up, and watches you intently. Yuuki anxiously trots away from the Vulnyx, and you successfully return to the crossroad. This time, you go down the left path and soon find your path blocked by vines.
Try to find another way, or try to destroy the vines with your weapon?
