Lani was already there. When she noticed Josh, she avoided eye contact. So far, the vibes she was getting were hate vibes. She continued to rehearse, not caring if the director was watching or not.

The director continued to smile and talk to Josh and Vix, then turned around to look at Lani. " No, No, Lani, your doing it all wrong! we went over this! " he said with a stern frown.

The director sighed. " What's the point? Your not a good enough actor to catch on. " Josh looked at Vix, then the director. " Not everyone is good immediately. Some people need practice. Lots of it. " The director thought for a moment, then got up and showed Lani how to do it.

Her eyes stung. Her director obviously didn't think she was good enough. If it wasn't for Josh, she and Cash would have been living on the streets. Again. Lani tried her best to copy how the director had done it

" That's better. Much, better. " The director said with an exasperated sigh. Then he turned back to Josh. " So! Josh, how's your acting career? " Then he looked at Vix. " And....your part time modeling? " " It's been going great. Although, I would like a different modeling partner..." He said plainly. Vix punched him in the arm, and he smiled down at her. (HE SMILED OMGFHFFFOFF nah I'll stop)

The director handed Josh some papers. " These are your lines. I would tell you good luck, but you don't need luck! " He said with a smile. Vix rolled her eyes. " Thanks. " Josh said. " Now, anyone up for some refreshments? There are some backstage. " Vix smiled. " Yes! C'mon Josh! " She said as she dragged him backstage.

Lani was getting a sandwich. As she ate it, she got lost in thought. First, she was thinking about what just happened, and somehow that turned into hoping her little brother didn't make a mess at the house

" What are ya gonna eat, Josh? " Vix asked him with a smile. " Mm, probably a sandwich. You should too, y'know. " He said. " Why? " She asked. " Cause your a model. You need to watch your weight. " He said as they approached the sandwich area. " If I do gain weight, I'll just work out at your house! " vix replied.
