Congratulations hero! You have done something heroic!
You reach the gate and leave the city behind.

Holly lead Mitch to the bridge near the river keeping to the path

(It will actually take a week or two to arrive at the capital.)

You ride through the woods all day, stopping at night to pitch your tent. The forest is a little spooky at night, but it's nothing you aren't used to.

Holly looked at the night stars while Mitch rested his belly filled with fodder and treat of apple or two. she sat silently thinking for quite some time before humming a simple tune to the night sky

The next day you exit the forest. Now you are beginning to worry about food. There will of course be villages along the way where you can stock up, but they are rather random. You will probably have to hunt on your way.
But for now the sun is shining and the wind refreshing. With your trusty steed and lack of responsibilities you can relax a bit.

Holly takes the ride easy for the day keeping an eye for any waters that may promise fish.

Unfortunately there are no potential fishing areas. However, you come across some antelope tracks in the late afternoon.

(Can we start having bold my response at the top of yours?)

The streets were full of people. Cairhien was the largest city in the country, excepting the capital. Many lords and ladies lived here, and every one of them read too much into everything. It was a political game they played. You insist you didn't know someone and they assumed you were old pals.

He tied Hopi up (if he could) to a post or near the stables. Maybe it wasn't the best idea living here. He headed to the town/city hall (if there isn't one, church) to hand the doll in, maybe the lucky owner would find it there.
(He's too busy being kind to win xD)

5: (Umm... I have plans for that doll...)
The city hall is a large impressive building. You enter it and find a plump man at a big desk. But when you try to hand the doll in the man refuses saying, "Sorry, but we don't hold children's toys. And peasant ones at that." Says he found it but who would leave a doll laying around and why would this guy pick it up? No, someone obviously gave it to him as some sort of gag gift. And now he's ashamed to carry it and is trying to get rid of it.
I'll just pretend that he is telling the truth.

(Oh .w. *gets eaten alive by the doll* Good morning. I always reply to my post last :P)

Zuni just smiled, "Well thank you anyway." he put the doll in his saddle bag, "Please send a message if someone has lost a doll" he walked out and back to Hopi, patting the stallion and redoing the girth and stirrups, adjusting them to a longer, more comfortable length

I take Mitch off the beaten path flowing the tracks while holding his reigns but being ever so cautious to keep my distance and not be seen or heard.
