Wren had decided to occupy herself by counting the number of things in the room. She wanted to be here for Kimi, but it hurt her heart to hear him in pain. It was the only thing she had ever heard from him, and it made her cry every time.
Kimani nodded softly. His hands were shaking a little, but his poker face was on as usual. He knew how bad it would hurt, but he could handle the pain after feeling every inch of his eye ripped out of his skull.
"What are you? Mute? Answer me. Why wasn't this floor cleaned like I asked? I said answer me!"
Kimani internally shuddered at that staff member's voice. Afterwards, he had screamed and screamed until he couldn't anymore as his eye was ripped from his eye socket.

Hanoko went back inside the room she shared with Aoi to find....Aoi awake. Having her emotional breakdown. Because of course she would wakeup at he worng time of nigt and do it.

Hanoko sat down nextto her ad Aoi immediately leaned into the older girl. Hanoko reflectedon how just yesterday Aoid been whipped until sje could barely srand just for missing a small pice of dust on a shelf. Although i wasnt as bad as Kaminis eye been ripped ot or Nicote get a jhot poke r in he yee or havign hisleg ruined, it was still horrible. There was just something wron with that orphanage and she felt sordy for he children still stuck there ...She immediately cowed to get that place shut down or improved the first xhanceshe got.

Little did she know that in the hallway below Nicote was fixing his makeshift brace and vowing the same hing. Although of course Nicote was also the guy whom everyone didnt find very....soothing. (think snape or nico di angelo style)

Ifera couldn't hold back a squeak and hid her face in her hands when she heard the complement. "I mean any pain would be better than the embarrassment i'm going through right now." She said in a muffled voice and peeked out from between her fingers. The blush was very visible now even through the tiny cracks of her fingers.

"I shouldn't, I'm not that good..." , He mumbled, a deep blush creeping to his cheeks. Mason scratched his arm awkwardly.

William very carefully, and slowly, started to properly clean up the wound for him. The state of the boys wound reminded him of the battle field.. and at remembering it, his eyes welled with tears. In a shaky voice he said, " I-it is already looking better.. " as he gently finished cleaning it.

He noticed the blush, and couldn't help but to crack a smile. " I am sorry.. I didn't mean to embarrass you, but I was being honest, the scars may be there forever.. but I still think you look lovely with them. "

" I think you are super good! I wouldn't be surprised if you made it to a big stage in new York! "

Kimani started trembling violently as his eyes was cleaned, digging his nails into the chair slightly. It didn't hurt as bad, but it was still extremely sensitive. He tried to think of something to distract him from the stinging, but it wasn't easy when the searing pain wouldn't cease. A few tears leaked out of his other eye before he finished, and he would have nodded but it hurt too bad.
Wren had taken a seat in another chair, biting her knuckles slightly and waiting for it to be finished.

Ifera buried her face deeper into her hands and leaned against Rowan shoulder to hide from his gaze. "Why do you know exactly how to push my buttons?" She managed to say.

"Yeah, no, getting noticed by a large group of people isn't my cup of tea." , Mason smiled, getting redder if possible.
