I do definitely overreasearch for most of my stories tho. I enjoy world building a lot.

Yup, I answered a trivia question correctly (for a school club) because a few weeks ago I had researched deer for a character of mine.
Something about female reindeer having antlers, idr.

Hmm why don't you try a bit of both right now and see which one flows better
Although that might not be the best idea because I do that sometimes and just end up with 10 WIPs because I ran out of motivation halfway or something

I'd rather have people over research than under research and say something very uncanon-like.
But that might just be me lol.
(Editing to add that not everything that's uncanon-like is bad, it just irrates me. Nothing against uncanon)

I say as long as your non-canon is believable non-canon, idc. Especially if it's convenient for the story. x)

I do the same thing, but I can't trust the actual wiki for my fandom because it tends to get written down incorrectly or there are dumb theories passed off as cannon. so watch me spend hours hunting down one little bit of dialogue or flavor text that is important. heck, I'll replay entire 2-hour quests multiple times just to get a smidge of info.
There's also quite a bit of hints as to the future quests.
Totally didn't figure out quite a bit of the most recent update by looking at the past two's side dialogue that most people didn't pay attention to.

Looks really interesting just skimming (I shall read it later when I'm not studying lol)! Is it for anything, or just worldbuilding fun?
(Also, yes, I can see the document if I copy paste the link into my search bar.)
My suggestion is you should put them on Toyhouse just for better organization xP
