Preferred writing genre: Horror, Fantasy, Scifi
Age (optional): Soon to be 16 in November
Pinglist?: Definitely
Other facts you want to be known about you or your writing: Almost all if my writing is quick single chapter short stories since I have a hard time with coming up with plot between my individual ideas. And my writings can be found on Wattpad @demons_rain (I also recently unpublished most of my non-short story books cause I was taking too long to write them ^^;)

Preferred writing genre
Fantasy, realistic fiction, and perhaps horror.

Age
Around 140,000 years old.
I didn't really keep track during the first few millennia or so of my existence. Nobody cared to ask for my age back then and now all of the sudden you humans are bugging me about it. My word, you humans can be so inquisitive.

Pinglist?
Yes. I also want to be on the criticism/showoff one.

Other facts you want to be known about you or your writing
My writing's...what do you younger humans say? Ah yes, "whack". Or whatever the word is, I don't bother to keep up with the younger generations often.

This is legit me right now, I swear.
Anyhow, I plan on writing a story about two teens/young adults that solve crimes. Just like any other book except it goes by the Rule of Funny in its free time and one of the characters can see ghosts.
I suppose I should explain more, but nah. I just got done with writing an essay, dang it.

But, anyhow, I may or may not sign up for a Wattpad account and I may or may not need beta readers. I don't know yet.
But, in the meantime, here are the links to the two characters' WIP profiles, in case anyone wants to draw them or comment. Eri Lang and Hana Ley

This wouldn't be a writing thing without a question! When developing characters, what do you do first? Do you identify traits, or their design, or something else? Most of my characters are a "What if..." character. Like, "What if a logical person could see ghosts?" (Eri) or "What if there were many devils and someone was just the most prominent?" (High Devil)

Replace "actual writing" with "actual character creation" and you've got me honestly
Except not even doing the latter because I feel weird commissioning with only a verbal description
So it's like "making perfect visualizations of my characters in my head and wishing I could draw that well"

School computer blocks Toyhouse :(
Would love to read though, also what's the Rule of Funny?
Lark's Anticipation made it shudder!

Mine are also sort of "What if...", except with the setting, sort of? Like random ideas for scenes that they sort of are "at home in" will pop into my head, and obviously that'll outline some traits for them, but how I actually go about filling the rest is also intuitive like

*jabs finger at Vern* I CAN TELL YOU HAVE A TOP HAT AND A SISTER, DON'T EVEN DENY IT
Also, why are you picking a lock excuse me

So uh yeah

My school computer blocks anything with the word "forums" in it. Trust me, I even looked up the word itself and it was blocked. So you're lucky lol.

Ah, the "what if... situation edition." I tried that once, but it didn't end well.

As I completely ignore Death and the Reapers because that was technically a "what if" situation well fleshed out.

Also, character development? What character development?

I'm guessing you're not on a school computer?

Yup, I just got one from my dreams. It made a scary amount of sense, and now I've got 4 characters to work out, if you'd like to hear about that.

Just ignore my blank Toyhouse over here lol

Death Reapers what

Trust me, I don't know either
