Well with both the Patriotic event and the new themed release.. I can think of two suggestions (Pick a new release theme and make an outfit to match) or (Without using the special patriotic sets create a patriotic outfit)

Get together a list of about 15 ish popular stories or TV shows (I can help with the list) and each of us chooses one but cant choose one that was already chosen. We design based on the chosen book movie or tv series.
Heres just a few popular things I can come up with off the top of my head
Lord of the rings/the hobbit
Harry Potter
DC stuff
Marvel stuff
Game of thrones
Warrior cats
Those dragon books.... I forget what theyre called

As far as themes go, I think you should do an ocean theme. Everyone should pick a sea animal and then at the last minute, swap everyone's animal like they do on those baking shows...just instead of food it's an animals.
