Lemonstar let out a deep breath, "Larkcry's right, Jaystorm. They're almost apprentices, when their mentor can take them out."

``Now, I'm not stopping you guys. But, I just want the best for this clan.`` She meowed, shaking her head slightly.

Lemonstar shot Larkcry a warning glare. She wasn't a fan of rouges and was against this idea entirely

Larkcry looked up at her with a smug glance, ignoring her warning glance. ``I'll be heading off now to go fix my nest again.`` She meowed, padding off.
Try to be helpful, and they get mad.




Omg, I roasted someone on Minecraft today.

``Hm,`` She turned to Jaystorm, ``I like your enthusiasm, but, you should know that it is dangerous for kits out there. And like what Lemonstar said, we are dealing with rogues that could swipe them at any moment if they wander astray, or you look away.`` She said, her eyes darkened with seriousness. She then turned back to Lemonstar, ``I will, you know I have a sharp eye.``
``In that case,`` She said, ``Flarekit! I would like you to stay by my side until everyone gets back, I promise we will play games and have fun.``

Jaystorm turned to Larkcry, a bit hurt. "I know it's dangerous. That's why they should stay right outside of camp with warriors watching them," Jaystorm replied. "It's too dangerous for them to go deeper. I'll look after them as well." She padded outside of camp, watching her kits.

Flarekit was already right outside of camp with her littermates. Their father watched, praising and correcting them. "Huh?" Flarekit looked up. "Maybe later!" she said cheerfully, and went back to playing with her littermates.

Lemonstar stood up and looked at Jaystorm, "We will have a warrior assigned to each kit, although I'm not sure about breaking the warrior code. I will take Morningkit. Larkcry." she called for her deputy. Lemonstar was looking very uneasily at Jaystorm, not completely sure if this was a best idea.

Bumblekit stared at his mother, tail straight up in the air happily

Jaystorm's look saddened, still watching her kits. She looked at Lemonstar, sighing. "If it's what you say, Lemonstar." "Morningkit, Flarekit, Bumblekit, Leafkit! Time to come back inside the camp!" Jaystorm called. (ok everyone, I know Jaystorm was supposed to have 4 kits and I added in Leafkit late so sorry about the inconvience. Leafkit is male)

Flarekit padded back to her mother, with Morningkit and Bumblekit trailing behind her. She grumbled in annoyance. "That was fun! Why'd we have to stop!" she meowed a bit angrily.

"Flarekit, watch the attitude!" Jaystorm shook her head. "It's not safe for you three to be outside of camp when there are rogues around. Even if it's right outside of camp." Jaystorm turned back to Lemonstar and Larkcry. "They can just play inside the camp. I don't want to cause you two any trouble."

Flarekit grumbled again, trying very hard not to stomp into the nursery. She padded over to the apprentices den, looking to see if there was anyone there.

Morningkit grumbled with annoyance "But I wanna play outside the camp I can take care of myself, Im as fast as flarekit and as strong as dad." When jaystorm growled no morningkit slucked to the nursery and grabbed the moss ball that was at the enterance. She then walked back to flarekit and bumblekit handed them the moss ball and began to play with it.

Larkcry nodded, ``Alright, I think I'm going to go and hunt for a bit.``
``Besides, your kits are already strong and older. It won't be long before they are apprentices.`` She said, padding off.

Morningkit grumbled with annoyance. "But I wanna play outside the camp. I can take care of myself and I'm as fast as Flarekit and as strong as dad." When Jaystorm growled no Morningkit stomped to the nursery and grabbed the moss ball that was at the entrance. She then walked back to Flarekit, Bumblekit, and Leafkit handed them the moss ball and began to play with it.

(Ok, if I didn't mention this before, here it is. Leafkit is Bumblekit, and Flarekit's brother. I added him into the story late but, I'll be playing him, unless someone else wants too.) Jaystorm sighed. *Morningkit is a little too proud, Flarekit's temper is short. At least Bumblekit and Leafkit didn't protest. Though Bumblekit is a little clumsy and Leaftkit is too shy. Morningkit may be the strongest of the kits, but Flarekit is the fastest, Bumblekit is the most caring and compassionate, and Leafkit is the quickest thinker. I love all my kits with all my heart, but sometimes I feel like I raised them wrong. Am I a bad mother?* Jaystorm thought. She shook her head and sighed. Jaystorm then follow her kits, feeling guilty and sad.

Flarekit, Bumblekit, and Morningkit were playing with the moss ball by the entrance of the nursery. "I got it!" Flarekit yowled playfully. *I want to explore!* She thought eagerly. *Why do we have to stay inside the camp?* Still a little annoyed at her mother, leader, the rogues, and herself, she kept playing with her littermates, wondering if she would ever get the adventure she always wanted.

Leafkit's drooped, walking to his mother. "I'm going to help collect herbs now," he said to her. (Hey Ivycat, Leaftkit might be the next medicine cat) He padded to the medicine cat den, sorting the herbs.

Jaystorm looked after him sadly. She always encouraged him to play with the other kits, but he never seemed to be included. The medicine cat den was where he felt at home. Jaystorm was expecting kits in 1 moon, almost right before Morningkit, Bumblekit, Flarekit, and Leafkit were becoming apprentices. She sighed, hoping to be a better mother.

Larkcry nodded, ``Alright, I think I'm going to go and hunt for a bit.``
``Besides, your kits are already strong and older. It won't be long before they are apprentices.`` She said, padding off.
