"Do you have anything for me to do before I die of boredom?", Aidy asked in a quite chipper manner. *He best not ignore me or we're gonna have problems.* She thought to herself, tapping her hoof.

Aidy sighed. "Alrighty, my name is Aidy, what's your's?", She smiled, showing off her oddly shiny teeth. She was taken care of as a kid, despite being an in slaved species. "Also, it's nice to hear your voice, it's pretty, you should use it more often."

Morro tilted her head, not expecting to be addressed. It took her a noticeable moment to respond as she tied all the words together. "Far too many names- Morro is the furthest name memories can reach."

Through her sharp teeth, her gruff voice was like an echo in an empty house. There was something melodic deep down, but It was clear she didn't get a chance to talk a lot and properly polish it.

The name was unfamiliar on her tongue. They addressed her like that in training but sparingly. In Manor, it was Noonwraith, Pasha for the kitchen staff, pile that with numerous names during her ring years... Morro felt right, like a silver bell somewhere in her heart, but it became something that wasn't truly hers... yet.

Now, given fleeting permission to speak, she decided to be brave and take a slip from Aidys book. Not brave enough for full conversation, but... an attempt. A single comment, something, anything to put Gale at ease.

"You're Gale, I heard. The name fits, your songs are lovely."

He was taken aback by her last sentence, he wasn't expecting to answer more than her name but it did kind of sense since music was a universal language. " Uh, thanks, I guess? I didn't though you could appreciate those things."

"My name is Cypress." I said slowly. Zev, interesting name.

I looked around the court, the other graduates [lord knows I didn't know them well enough to say acquaintances, much less friends.] were standing around chatting idly. It was satisfying to see that I wasn't the only one with an Ishnu taller than myself, the one that stood out the most though looked like a stone wall.

Well not literally...but she [?] was almost stone faced and stood tall.

I looked back at Zev, I had nothing for him to do at the moment. "You can go socialize if you like..."

(Oh oops I was busy)

Leah glanced at her... creature and backed as far away as possible. This... was not good. Ugh, she almost wished she hadn't been such a good student. Now she was stuck with a two-legged thing with hooves. Well, at least now she had a personal slave to do her dirty work. She glared at him out of the corner of her eye and stayed silent.

((Tis fine))

Driscol's ears drooped when his new mistress ignored him and gave him dirty looks. His tail smooshed lightly across the floor behind him. "So... so what's your name?" He tried to converse. "I am Driscol."

Oh? It was a blink and you miss it sort but Morro's face went through multiple expressions at once beginning at dumbfounded, passing on momentary awe and finally settling on a neutral expression, but the twinkle in her eyes was nothing but poorly masked pride.

She leaned forward a little, obviously entrapped by Gales acceptance of her compliment... She might have not talked to anyone in a long, long time.

"I do. Grew among seagulls, you appreciate tunes with some sense after living through that. I thank you for...not being a seagull?" She blinked as her line slipped away from her. Where was she going with that?
She absentmindedly ran a hand through her mane, making zero progress in combing it down before her brain finally supplied her with damage control. "I'm sorry, Master- For your songs. There.. isn't enough lately. Monsters and all that- people are afraid to raise their voice. You will help them- and I will help you. And hear more songs, hopefully."
