The headmaster grinned down at the first graduating class of the new monster hunting university. "You have earned your new titles. You have trained hard to be the best you can possibly be. And now it is time. Time for you to be granted your slaves and sent out to do your work. Make the world safe again!"
Loud cheers filled the air. The headmaster held up a hand to silence them. "We will begin with the top ten percent of this class." He started listing names and graduates walked up there to receive a medal and be introduced to their Ishnu.
You are in the top ten percent, along with your three other buddies. One at a time, you are called up to receive your Ishnu. This rp starts right after you have moved out of the academy and have formed a party with your pals and their Ishnus.

Driscol shifted from one hoof to the other, staying quiet as usual as he stood just behind his new mistress. They were waiting on her friends and their new slaves, who were in turn the shy Ishnu's friends. He lifted his ears slightly, trying to appear more upbeat, but he wasn't sure how to feel. He had spent the whole year training for whatever his owner could want. But hunting down monsters? That explained the monster classes, but why him? He hated violence! He sighed as he looked to his mistress, hoping for some kind of acknowledgement to his existence from her.

Alexander yawned. Bored already, he couldn't wait for this to be over so he could go and be "prodcutive"-ala practicing wih his bow and arrows. Not that his "friends" would let him.

I felt really lucky. Super lucky. I must be the luckiest person here, to be paired with an Ishnu that was about a half-a-foot taller than me.

Real lucky I am.

Whichever, I thought dismissively beckoning the Ishnu to follow me out of the Academy. He looks strong, maybe he'll be a good sparring partner.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I was aware that it would probably be frowned upon to give my Ishnu a weapon, as he could attack, but I didn't see it as much of an issue. Most Ishnu I had seen were meek, others too stupid to know better.

I reached the doors that would lead outside and spun around to look at my Ishnu now.

"You are to do as I say and do not backtalk me, I will not put you in danger purposely but I do not appreciate arguing. You may talk." I paused narrowing my eyes.

" I'd expect the Academy to provide you with some sort of combat training, even if you are an Ishnu. If you don't that may be a problem in the future. What weapon do you fancy?"

Alexander rolled his eyes watching Cypress and her Ismu. What a joke-the ismu was taller then Cypress. He glanced at his own. But said nothing. Why should he-the ismu was trained to do as he said.

(Cypress is a guy <3 And ouch that actually hurt MY feelings and im not even that short xDI'd reply but im waiting for Pearl ;p)

(I like to think that everyone is this roleplay is just your usual, average height... and then there's Zev and Morro, utterly towering over them like two giraffes.

I think Cian might be working on the post, and I think i should let them decide Gales position anyway so I can match and not control him, so don't mind me just floating around silently until then!)

(yup xD I always make my characters just a little short for their age because I happen to be a little bit tall for mine irl xD)

Gale was happily humming a song trying to ignore the fact that the Ishnu he had received was slightly creeping him out. He was still happy to have received one and she would definitely be useful in the future, but he didn't trust her one bit, and her size didn't help the feeling in the slightest.
