Akira sighed from where she was scrubbing the dishes. "Come see me in the 'hospital' later and I'll get you an ice pack."
In reality, the hospital was just another cramped dirty room, but it was Akira's favorite place in the orphanage and she tried to make it as sanitary as possible.

Ifera was outside violently chopping wood. She was silently cursing every time she swung the axe. She repeated this violent process for about 15 minutes before screaming with rage and chucking the axe at the wall of the house where it got stuck between some bricks. She sat down frustrated and put her head between her knees. "It's bad enough here! Why the hell do we need to go somewhere else." She mumbled angrily to herself as she peeked out from between her knees to stare at the door, just waiting for Mrs. Lawson to run outside with her cane.
