Theme Ideas:

Dessert! (Chocolate, pie, ice cream, brownies, anything desert-based)

Natural (ie: a Zolnixi with the natural colorings of a fox. Sylvorpa with the natural colorings of a frog or fish. Lupora with the natural colorings of a dog/wolf breed. Auelron with the look of a natural bird. Annnd so on. Reference image for the real world species required.)

Seasonal Collection (Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall set for the same species, so 4 theme designs in one contest.)

Elemental Collection. (Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. Same Species, so 4 designs in one contest.)

Royalty Collection. (King and Queen, Prince and Princess. Same Species, so 4 designs in one contest.)

Black and White Magic (Also same species. Basically a 'good' and 'evil' version.)

Beautiful Monsters (Taking the creepiest traits of a species and making it look gorgeous, like my Abyssal Aeridini design for example.)

Rainbow. (For added challenge, ban the use of rainbow traits such as Rainbow Life Lines, and the Qitari Rainbow Mane/Scales.)


Special elimination twists: After a set number of rounds, take those who were knocked out of the contest and give them a chance to RE-DO the pet that had them eliminated. The pet species and the theme MUST be the same, but colors and non-required traits can be changed. Winner out of the bunch (3, 5, however many it may be) gets to rejoin the competition.

Possible twist to make it more of a challenge: make the contestants use a DIFFERENT SPECIES for every challenge. But, allow two uses of their favorite species. And ANY (or just their favorite) if they make it to the final round. (No one wants a lame final round after all! :D)

I don't think I'm going to need any pets donations for the prizes, I have them all planned out at this point. However, if that third Fruitcake egg (at least I think it was the third one...) is a boy I'll buy it off of you to breed with my Fruitcake girl. :)

Wow, I love all of those ideas and will take them under consideration. I especially like the idea of using one of the species the contestants put down as their favorite. I actually put that as part of the form on a whim, with no real purpose. The form just seemed incomplete without it. :P I also like the idea of a "Wildcard Round" so to speak, letting all of the eliminated contestants fight for a chance at the final round, that might be something that I'll do as well. Thank you so much for all the inspiration!

I was wondering if you had thought anymore about entering the contest. I'm just checking because I decided to put a cap of 20 on the contest since so many people were interested and there's only one spot left.
