Ocean grinned. "I can talk to. About nearly everything. From animals to the writing class that you missed." he smiled slyly. "Yeah. And my sister found it hard to shut me up."

"I can see why." Both phoenix and newt muttered at the same time.

"Why?" Ocean pestered, eager to know.

"They hate ramblers." Peggi informedhim. "Loke us."


"We dont hate ramblers. Byt o personally do dislike the amount of words you keep using." Phoe


"Whos usingmore words now?" Se teased.


"Just stop."

"Like us... I've been the outcast my whole life mostly, being the male kin and not the eldest and all of that. It can get hard, so the thing I do is what I do. Talk and talk and talk and annoy people until they actually pay attention to me... Or something like that." Ocean thought that over.

"Tell that to him. He cant be evil." Peg pointa at newt

Vae didn't really pay attention to how James was acting, so she didn't comment on it.

Ocean shrugged. "Never thought it as evil. They were the ones not paying attention when they should have. That's how the sea-horse stables blew up." He shrugged again. Then he laughed. "I can be so evil sometimes even though I'm supposed to be good or something like that." he shook his head at himself in wonder.

James went back to leading the group through the mossy hallways, lined with eerily similar-to-other-character statues. He shivered, and then found himself in the middle of a cross-road.

(U guys can make something like an obstacle happen or what not. There are more of the creepy statues everywhere, FYI.)

Harriette didn't know how long she could hold her breath, but she figured less than a minute. Then how long had she been down here? The dark depths of the little lake closed in on her. Her lungs felt ready to burst.

How long? How long? How long?

Desperately, she looked up, but the water was everywhere. Which way was up? Harriette resisted the urge to start gasping for breath. A large dark shape in the water loomed closer. A predator of the water. On instinct, Harriette yelled, water rushing into her mouth and filling her lungs. Choking, she was vaguely aware of the creature coming closer, jaws open wide as if to eat her.

Peggi practicalky cling to Phoenix every time she thought she saw something in the shadwos. Which was constantly.


Next was tryign to memorize the mazelike tunnels. For no good reaosn.

James looked around. "So... Left or right?" he asked. Sure, he was in the front, but he wanted input before he made a move that could lead them to their deaths and he would be solely responsible. (Oh, shoot. Just realized that.)
