"I...well...dragons...honestly I..." she puffed out some steam gripping the rock tighter for a better grip." I don't...really...know. I...guess...its...our nature?" she puffed pulling her self onto a thick tree root sticking out of the island. She gripped it with her two fore talons and swung herself upward scrabbling onto Angel islands edge.

Knuckles hauled himself up onto the island. "You know somethin'?" He started, looking up at Shell. "You are really bad at answering questions," He smiled then. "Thanks," He said, turning to leave. he stopped in his tracks after walking several paces. He looked at the sky as if considering something. "Wanna stay here 'till your wing gets better?" He asked, turning to face her.

(CANDEH) "Yeah 'better should." she scrambled to her feet and trotted over orange fall leaves.

"ok, just watch your step," He said. "Some jerk's been setting traps 'round here," He trotted off without more then a nod, towards Mystic Ruin.

Shell trudged through random wildflowers that looked like weeds. "Quick question, why would some one want to randomly put traps here unless they are meant for stopping Robotnic then I understand."

Knuckles considered this. "I dunno. They seem made to kill-- Some of them, anyway. I used to have triggers, but I destroyed them long ago. It might be Eggman, it might be someone else. I have no real clues though. All I know is that I didn't set them,"

"Hoooo......okay. That's nice." Shell walked on keeping an eye on the ground, then on the trees and sky.

They soon came upon a river. Knuckles jumped into the water and swam across. He shook the water of his fur and carried onot, looking back at Shell periodically.
