The stallion stands stoically as you approach him, his ears perking in curiosity when you offer him the fruits. He stares at you cautiously, however, and does not accept them.

Velos kept eye contact and his hand out. He didn't bother trying to speak. One of them would have to back down eventually, he would if the stallion turned it's head away in refusal.

The stallion takes one last look at the fruit and turns away, plodding to a nearby tree and stretching up to pick fruit of his own. He gives you a pointed look as he chews on the fruit.

Velos chuckled and laid it on the ground, crouching down and offering it to one of the smaller horses instead.

You spot a young horse approaching the fruit with excitement. He is considerably smaller than the lead stallion, so you assume he couldn't reach the fruit by himself. He eats the fruit, chewing with gusto and making little noises. He leaves a bit of the fruit on the ground and looks at you.

Velos chuckled, looking around for the young horses mother, supposing he had one. He would want to get on her good side first.

You spot a mare looking at you and the colt, though she seems more observant than protective. You don't see any other horses that seem like his mother, so it seems that he is old enough to be independent.

He gave a nod and went to a close by fruit bush and picked off some more to offer to the young horse.

The colt eats the fruit you offer him, once again leaving a bit uneaten and looking at you.

He was surprised at the colts appetite and looked at the lead stallion for permission to give more.
