Desta takes a few steps away and waits to see Thorwa's reaction.
"I'm not sure about a bow. You could check the pawn shop, they 'ave an assortment of trinkets no one else 'ere has in stock. As for the job, the 'orse trader ordered two lead ropes and two halters from me earlier today." He replies, undeterred by your rambling. He reaches under the counter and holds a box out to you. "I'm pretty busy 'ere with my shop so I don't 'ave time to deliver these to him myself. If you could do it and bring the payment back, I could pay you a bit for yer trouble."

((I'm so sorry I've been absent forever, Sylestia wouldn't load, I couldn't get on to the page at all, but my phone is getting old~))
I took the box of halters and lead ropes from him and braced it on my hip as I put an arm around it.
"I'll be right back," I said and left the shop. It was easy enough to find the horse trader in the small town, and I passed him the box, getting a handful of coins in return. I slipped them into my pocket so I didn't loose them and returned to the shop.
"Here's your money," I said, putting all the coins on the counter for him.

You try making a u turn, but the snake frantically goes to block your way, getting even more aggressive than before. It seems oddly protective of that tree.

You finally arrive in the small town, ready to begin your journey. Before doing anything, though, you check your backpack to make sure everything you had packed is still intact. Thankfully, everything is fine.
Inventory:
Small backpack - Capacity: 15 - Remaining space: 10
1 tent
1 canteen of water
1 sandwich
1 lasso
1 coin pouch - 500 gold coins
You also remember that you had bought a small stables only an hour or so of a trek away, capable of holding 10 horses.
