Frost stared at her with a wave of sudden respect, even the snobby, tough bully Ferret couldn't do that!

Frost flashed a grin back at her when a gruff squeak interrupted the moment, "Yo, high and mighty loser. See that guys? A girl beat him! Haha! Prince Frost, get lost." An older puffadore loomed over them, he had several cuts and bruises. He snickered along with the rest of the gang that surrounded the two. "So loser, how's about that? Useless, you don't even deserve the throne." The mean looking puffadore scooped up some snow and chucked it at Frost's face. The rest of the gang did the same, mocking Frost as well.

THUNK

The kit jumped on her back feet then headbutted the Puffadore.
She growled, and her fur puffed up out of anger

The puffadore didn't even wince instead he said in a mocking voice, "Oh look now shes protecting you! How cute." He sneered. Frost was now cowering shivering in the snow, his pelt was damp and filled with slushy snow and ice. He cried out as a ball of solid ice nailed him right in the ribs. He fell to the ground and put his paws over his head, "No big bad daddy to save you, loser." the puffadore commented swatting a paw at the female kit.

Roots grew around the kit, it was some type of magic...
The roots surrounded the Puffadore and his gang,
soon tying them tightly to the ground

The puffadore squirmed, his black eyes wide with terror. "Freaks!" He shrieked. Soon they scrambled free running away. Frost was sprawled motionless on the ground, his small body covered in bruises.

The roots disappeared soon after
-
The kit tried to drag Frost to somewhere else,
Since Rian had left, or was out of view at least

Frost sniveled, he had a nasty bloody bruise where the ice chunk had hit him. He opened his eyes slightly. The world lurched upside down. He moaned and closed his eyes again.

Rian had left long before the Ferret encounter. She had gone off to buy them both some cocoa. She was now only just returning.
