He bit back a howl of pain and waited for the stinging to subside. With a sigh he plopped down and put his head on his forelegs. "This blizzard will never end..." he grumbled. "Thank you, blue vulnyx. Forgive me for not introducing myself. My name is Rustet."

Rustet sniffed closing his yellow eyes. "I'm going to wait the blizzard out, I'll be up in about a gajillion years."

Rustet was sound asleep, the chilling winds had died down and he scent of burning meat infiltrated his nostrils. Gagging he opened his eyes and stretched. He leaped to his feet at the scent of smoke and beat out the flames where the campfire once stood. He gingerly scooped the unidentifiable meat out of the fire and slipped it of the stick stabbing it into two halves.

Rustet nudged some half-charred meat in Atlas's direction and continued gnawing on his half eyeing the sky occasionally.

Rustet's ears perked up. "D-did you h-h-hear that?" he asked trembling. His ears laid back and his fur bristled.
