Rustet put on a straight face. "Someone's hurt. Sounds like a child. What ever it is won't stand a chance against three!" He said half-bounding half-limping in the direction of the roar and turned tilting his head. "Well aren't you coming?"

A morkko was the one who roared, he was now growling


There was also a small ny'vene, he was shaking, obviously scared

Rustet charged/limped and halted right in front of he hatchling. He snarled at the morkko and his lips drew back to bare his teeth. He dug his dragonlike claws into the ground and stared right into the icy pools of eyes the morkko had.

Before the Morkko could reach Rustet, Atlas swooped down and bit it's neck

Still shaking, the Ny'vene kit grabbed Rustet's back leg

Rustet swiveled his head to look at the kit. "It's okay," he said in a strangely calming voice "We're here.. something tells me were going to be okay..." With that Rustet stood unwavered by the morkko's attempted launch.

"Hmm..." Rustet dug his muzzle into his bag. He grasped something with his teeth and dragged it out. It was a bedraggled old ryori stuffy. "Here kid." he dropped it into the little kit's grasp.
