Moths started to gather in clusters around street lamps, and a few bats swooped in and snagged them from the air. Frost shrugged "It's getting late, we should probably start heading back soon,"

"Ke-de-de-de! Kill-de-de-de!" Scot yelped as one of those bomb-things narrowly missed him. He tried to lift off, but one of the Buzz bombers prevented him from doing so. So He kept running, with Buzz bombers surrounding him from both sides, behind, and above. Only direction he could go was straight-- nope, nevermind, Buzz bomber there too. "What do you want from me Eggman?!" Scot shouted. Surprisingly, there was a response.
"You're a hard bird to find, Scotty my boy,"
"My boy? Mother isn't acquainted with you, and if she was, I guarantee that she would never--"
A long sigh came from the other end. "I really don't have time for your jokes,"
"If you don't have time, why bother? You should spend your time working out, go to the gym once in a while. Getting a little--"
"YOU STUPID BIRD!!! Don't you get it?! You have something essential for my grand design--"
"What design, the Eggman empire? Sorry, don't have it, now go pester some blue hedgehogs or something,"
"I'm not going to ask you again,"
"Now, don't go making promises you can't keep,"
"Fine. Have it your way. Buzz Bombers, take care of this feathered freak. Eggman out!"

Rose's ears perked up and down constantly.
An annoying buzzing filled her ears.
"What's that noise?"
She squeaked standing up.

Frost turned around several times, ears rotating trying to pick up where the sound was coming from. "I've heard that sound before, Buzz bombers. Eggman's robots. And I also hear... um... someone shouting, but I can't make out what... Oh no! What if they're in trouble?!"

Scot let out a "Kee-dee-dee" cry and lashed out with his leg at the bot in front of him, wings providing some lift. The robot dodged the attack, exposing an opening for the Killdeer to escape. Scot seized the opportunity and ran, successfully taking flight. The robots have chase, forcing him to continue on foot. They engaged fire, a bullet nearly hitting him.

Rose trembled,
"What are we waiting for,
let's go help them."

Frost led the way, and soon found out it was a 'him, not a 'they, who need help. The victim was a Killdeer, younger that Blood but older than Frost, by the looks of it. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. Frost kept forward and clawed at the nearest Buzz Bomber. "Rose help me out!"

Rose felt the blue sparks fly of her fur as she ran her speed doubled as she pressed her feet harder into the concrete. She took a flying leap and tackled a Buzz Bomber to the ground with a satisfying scrape of metal and pure anger in Rose's eye.

Scot looked at these two ladies fighting in awe. He took off his hat, wiped his brow and joined the battle. Frost whacked one right out of the air with her tail and finished it with a powerful kick.

Rose got up, a hard glint in her amber eye.
She punched down another Buzz Bomber into the cement growling.

Scot finished the last one by hopping on top of it to weigh it down and holding it to the cement he made quick work of it by twisting a wing. With a sigh, he flopped to the ground. "Thank you kindly ladies. I owe you one, I was as good as roadkill just now!" He said, taking of his hat and nodding. "Who might you be?"

Rose stood up her breaths heavy with the adrenaline of the battle,"I'm Rose."
