Ah, yeh... hol up, artsy kids are weird 0-o hmmm... well I knew I was weird, now I guess I know why XD
Eh, as long as you're comfortable with yourself and you're not hurting anyone, there's nothing wrong with how you express yourself or your personality u-u

Teach me your ways 0-0 I like talking to people, but, uh... I'm r e a l l y b a d at it :T I stutter and talk forever about nothing... and never know how to actually carry a conversation without figuring out what I should say next for about five minutes ;-;
She doesn't study... she just does whatever :T talks to friends on the phone, plays with magnets, makes water bead art, the like

...
You do the work... just... when you feel like it... in a sense that it's your own responsibility and schedule?
I'm terrified of college, so I'm doing what I do with any horror game/story that scares me and learning it to death XD the more I know, the more I realize how unlikely it is to attack in the dead of night 0wo

Rip Lark, think I'm the opposite with that one. Outlined something I really wanted to right kinda before school, and now I need to save my math grade before I can do anything else lol

I'm comfortable with myself now, but it was a long road to get there. ^^;
As for talking to people, I think things got easier for me out of high school and having to be in service jobs or managment positions where talking to people was one of my major duties. Mainly you learn to ask questions. Most people like to talk about themselves so when it comes to things like small talk, it's a matter of finding common ground as an icebreaker. (Ie what shows, books, movies they like, their hobbies, their pets/kids, etc)
I still get pretty anxious around certain people from time to time and not know what to say or how to open up myself, but there's no harm in being the one to listen to people or generally just being polite.

And yup. For college, you still have deadlines and everything. I'm doing everything online this year, so for example my professor will email out a deadline for a batch of assignments/any tests, say the end of the week for something assigned that week. You basically know when things are supposed to be done so you just work it around your own schedule.
I still have lectures or face to face time in class but it's usually entirely online (ie reading material, textbooks, etc) or done in short video sessions (currently, as opposed to going to campus for a couple hours to listen to a lecture). I was scared going in since I didn't know what to expect, but most professors are pretty good at letting you know what to expect from them. It's definitely a different experience though.

I have no doubt XD Pretty sure it's still a punishment, but now everyone else gets it, too...

I'd love to have a job, but my legal guardians said I need to focus on grades -///- I probably could've learned so much about the real world by now....
How do you get comfortable doing it tho? Is it, like, you just keep talking to people until you just don't even feel embarrassed about it anymore?

Oh, that's a bit like what we're doing here... the teachers give us online stuff to do on our own with a due date, but we also have in-class stuff for the hybrid (meet in-person twice a week) students....
That doesn't sound too bad... do a lot of colleges do it that way? Er, I don't know if you'd know that, really, but thought I'd ask just in case you do....
What about the work itself? Is it really difficult? Is there a lot, like too much a lot? Or are the professors pretty good at keeping it challenging, but manageable?

More or less. I still have pretty bad social anxiety but talking to people doesn't scare me too much anymore. I can still get embarrassed with some people/conversations but that just happens? idk
You just do it enough you get into a routine

So when it comes to college itself it depends mostly on your professors and degree programs. I'm a computer science major so my workload is pretty difficult compared to some other majors as far as the classes I'm required to take. (lots of math and science, lol)

I took a lot of classes this semester (12 credit hours) so it's definitely a lot of hw for me but I'm still able to keep up with it since I'm a full time student and not working atm. I'd say my hardest classes are probably math because I am not good at math at all. Everything else seems pretty easy. ;;

:T oh
Uh...
Which sciences do you take? it's not, like... chemistry... or biology... right?

Would you say
Going to a two year college and getting some courses out of the way
Would be a good idea
In that it would lessen the workload once one gets to a four-year college?

I'm not taking any science this year but I'm required to take biology, geology, and physics to meet my science credit requirement in the next semesters.
I'm doing a 2 year now to finish my associate's before transferring over to a university for my bachelor's and maybe master's.

I would definitely agree a 2 year can lessen the workload and overall cost of college significantly but if you're going for the "college social experience" you might miss out in some regards. I've had a taste of that elsewhere and honestly I'm too old for that now, haha.
I've found my instructors to be a lot more helpful at a 2 year just because the general class sizes tend to run smaller and they have more time to interact with students.
