Since this whole form was based on the fact that she was flying, being unable to run or walk fast under that form wasn't a wory so she could use her legs strictly to fight and keep her elytras protected from far enough. Normaly she would also turn her teath sharper but she didn't wanted to scare him so she stoped there.
