The fox continues growling menacingly, taking a few slow steps forward.

I stand still, not moving.

You set off again once it is dark and notice that there is an oasis on the horizon.

They seem to understand as they stop following you, wandering a little ways off to graze.

Velos walked towards it slowly and was careful not to walk too fast so not to tire as quickly.

He stumbles back a couple steps once you start moving, but stares at you with curiosity as you go around the tent inspecting it.

I start to daydream about having him as my horse with me riding him along the meadows and jumping over rivers

I continue to explore

Standing the river's edge, you notice that every once in a while a fish passes by you.

It finally gives up and stalks over to you, grabbing the fish from your hand and setting it down on the ground a few steps away to eat it.
