Axel retreated back further, completely forgetting about the umbrella. He lifted a brow at the man's words, however. He sounded different than other hunters. Sure, the whole thing about his dad being dead was probably a fluke, but other hunters made it perfectly clear how much they wanted Intuitives dead. But this person? That expression? 'I won't hurt you?' He really didn't want to do this.
"...Heh." Axel laughed bitterly, not even bothering to use his abilities now. He knew his Flaw. "I don't want this either." He spoke. "But it looks like neither of us are shirking around this, huh?"

(I was waiting for Moonlitwolf to catch Reu, but I'm also on a crunch bc/ of homeschool evals rn so responses are gonna be uh, sparse.)

Leah grinned, the chase was on. She flicked her wrist, bringing the knife into her hand, and tapped the handcuffs against her concealed thigh sheath which held another dagger, jingling cheerfully. Not even bothering to hide her pursuit, she caught almost up to him, but stayed behind. Playing with her prey.
Havardur frowns slightly, knowing full well Leah - the Hunter chasing him for grabbing her prey - could catch up to him if she wanted. So... why was she holding back? He shrugs, and wipes the rain from his forehead, putting his hood back up as he continued to trek towards the library, picking up the pace a tiny bit.

Shoot. Now I feel bad for him, too. Welp, no tugging my way around this one. Axel thought with a grunt, bringing his fists up to defend and continuing to back away. "No can do. Sorry 'bout this, but it's kinda life or death from this point on. Well, for me, anyway. I'd die before I kill, so you'll probably be fine no matter what happens, right?" He remarked, brow furrowed as he tried to anticipate this guy's moves.
