We soon neared the palace, as I stepped into the village a flustered looking vulnyx raced up to me, "Lord, we thought you were only staying for a couple hours! You ought to---" the she-vulnyx stopped scolding me and stared at the kit, "Hello there." she said her voice softening. (this vulnyx is the one who lost her daughter in the fire)
