Kimani followed everyone else into the dining room. Something had clicked inside of him as soon as he arrived here. For the longest while, he felt like his emotions had been frozen, but a lot of them were coming back. There was still tears in his eye, and he wiped them gently. Maybe, maybe he would try talking. Part of him was still scared though. Talking could mean a slap, or a hit. Talking could mean no food, or working all night. It scared him still. Being quiet and doing as told kept him safer. But.. it was because he didn't talk that he no longer had his other eye.
He looked around for Wren, but he couldn't find her. He felt nervous and scared without her, despite seeming okay with it.

(Do you mind if I add another character just to kill him sorry bro or am I limited to two?)
Akio grabbed an egg roll and shoved half of it in his mouth. Akira was taking dainty bites of a cucumber slice.
"Dude, why are you eating a cucumber of all the things here?"

Mason took a seat, making sure Nicolas filled his plate first. He picked a chicken drumstick, some mashed potatoes, asparagus, and broccoli before he took a seat. Mason began eating hesitantly, flavour popping in his mouth.

Liam sat down shyly, taking some potatoes and ham. Glancing over at Archie, he took a cautious bite, eyes unwavering.
"Agreed," Elliott took a bite of corn. It was delicious and buttery - she'd never had food this lovely. "On the food, and the brother. They must be twins or something...they're almost identical. "

"Alright! You lead the way!" She was already gently tugging on him to walk, not in a rude way, but not in a very friendly way either. Her shoulder started to ache from carrying her bag, since it did fit a lot more than it looked to fit, and she wasn't that strong anyways. She had stopped tugging on him once she realized it might not be very okay for her to do that with him. She mumbled out a sorry and looked back towards Avery.

Ulima picked at her food, she was still processing what had happened that day. Was their adopter genuinely kind? Was his brother the off one? After a few minutes of thought she decided, Ulima would stay for a bit longer before deciding if she wanted to run away.
She nodded " to be honest I know I can trust you, sorry if I seem a bit clingy today, I just don't want to be a single target" she admitted with little to no shame following Zan and Lillian to check out the rooms
sorry forgot to ping >.<

( Cana- Yes, I don't mind that at all. Also, you can take as many as you can handle )
Nicolas slowly ate his small salad, alongside a little bit of the ham and some mashed potatoes, covered in gravy. He was still staying very close to Mason, and eating slowly, but he was calmer.
Mr. Manitoba was eating a high stacked plate of food.. he was very hungry that night, and really didn't care what the children thought. It was good food.
Elizabeth smiled a little, glad to have such good food. " I agree on that.. his brother is just so creepy! He looks at us like we are.. animals. "
