Unfortunately, I don't have something finished to post >.>
I just wanted to say that my incredibly unprofessional wip is quoted on the first page now if you wanted to see it xD Obviously, it'll ruin what it's about if you only wanted to see the end product, but if you're getting bored I'll just leave it there since I haven't been feeling too well so I might not be done when I meant to be.

I sympathize with the difficulty of writing while unwell. Please know that there is no judgement for posting anything "unprofessional." In fact, if it makes things easier, I encourage it! It's always better to have a rough rough draft than a perfect nothing.
Onto the actual snippet, (spoilered just in case) I must say that your character's voice comes through very strongly in this passage. I can feel how resigned they are to their duty, how the endless battles have numbed them to tragedy and loss. The premise is intriguing, and I would be glad to read more and learn about who this character is, how they became the sole force standing between the world and the forces of nightmare, and what the future has in store for them.
