Alex is a very hardened person, he isn't cold or distant, just hardened. He is the friendly type, and though not distant he doesn't like people getting too close, or him letting himself get too close. He is a loner who doesn't mind company. Ever since he became a puppet he is scared to let anyone or anything get too close, he is afraid he might kill them, and he is afraid that his puppeteer might do something worse to the person if he ever showed he cared.. as it has happen before. He doesn't know he is being controlled, but he knows something is wrong..
Backstory:
Alex was born into a poverty stricken family, and never really had it good. He worked as hard as he could for better but no matter how hard he tried to get better something always seemed against him. He wasn't an unhappy person, and was actually quite optimistic as a person. He was good in school, and well liked by peers. As he got older he got into his first relationship.. and it is when the control started.. He against his own will hurt his first love in many ways no matter how hard he tried not to. He sobbed, and sobbed, and never truly forgave himself as she left him.. Soon after he lost his job and his parents kicked him out, he has been on the streets ever since.
