Your sudden yell startles Hitari - he jumps and slams the back of his head on the top of the hearth. Dazed, he falls on his behind, then flops onto his back. He doesn't exactly seem hurt though. More surprised.

The fire isn't quite out, but it's definitely lower.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" Rin puts his hand to his mouth in surprise. "I just.... oh my gosh! Are you.... uh, are you magic?"

She walked to the water and places the pup down

The pup totters up to the gently flowing water and takes a long drink, its small front paws in its refreshing coolness.

The cougar stays where it is - it appears to have fallen asleep.
