I slowly draw back. I know my brother would tell me to get on with life, live as I can. I spew a little bit of hot water on the stone, and, to my surprise, the sand covering it turns to melted glass with a loud hiss. I do this all over the grave, making it a beautiful memorial of my brother. I wipe the tears off my face, and look around for a place I can make into a temporary home.

The blanket helped until they got to the doors. By then, it had burned up and was gone completely. "Thanks, but your blanket is gone now," she said guiltily.
