Hitari seems to notice the tension, and his smile grows even more anxious.

He walks over (wobbling, heh) and looks at the little owl. "Felix, huh?"

Holding out his hand like he's going to pet the owl, Felix hoots and snaps at him. "Holy - "

Hitari glares at the owl, which fluffs up and positions itself in the middle of the table, between you and Hitari.

He mutters something.

"Hey! That was not nice," Rin chides. Rin, who are you kidding? It's an OWL. It can't understand you.
...well, unless you use magic. But that doesn't count.

She glared at the big cat before double tying it and then scooting back and getting up "there all better" she picked up the pup "does this mean I can get a decent drink of water" she mumbled to the cougar giving the pup another berry

The cougar's tail twitches as it puts its head down and closes its eyes to rest.

The pup joyfully inhales the berry.

Hitari sighs and walks over to the fire, kneeling down in front of it. Suddenly, he puts his entire hand in the burning logs, as if he's going to put out the flames without a tool.

Firelight howled after him then ran back inside. 'I made another nest for you.'
