She stepped back a bit, surprised. Lifting her claws, she sighed. "Yes... I have fire scales." She drew her tail closer.

I wake up to a sharp shock. I almost spew my water, but calm myself and look around. An eel is right next to me, and is giving me an evil eye. I eat it. I swim out of my cave, and look around. There is land right next to me! I swim up to it, and clamber out. This is my first time out of water in five years. I remember this beach. This is the beach that my brother died at in a battle with some angry rainwings. I shriek, and fly up as high as I can, scouting for his grave. I spot a large, blue stone almost covered in beach sand. I quickly dive over to it, and rest my head right in front of it. I can't control myself, a huge tear drips down my face.

"Its okay,I'm not like most rainwings as you can see" she pointed to her gold and white scales"I can also tun invisible" she made her tail disappear then reappear "and since we're in sunlight i don't get tired,Do you by any chance know about Queen Comeyt's plan to take over Pyrrhia?She's my aunt by the way"' she said unproudly....

"No..." She answered. "Although I've heard of the Queen."

"she's awful,she's my aunt, she killed my parents, and she ruined the whole rainwing kingdom" she said angrily."sorry she's just awful" she shivered.

"Oh, that's terrible!" Her eyes widened. "I never knew my parents, they left me as a hatchling." She sat down, and blew steam out of her nostrils.

"Mine were killed when i was 5,why did they leave you?" she asked quietly

"I don't know. My best guess is my fire scales." Laying her head on the ground, she remembered blurs from her childhood- she had hidden in the mountains for most of her life. She had seen other tribe dragons, but only because she had gone to Possibility.

Farseer heard the commotion from the library and sighed. She rolled up the scroll - River Down by Ultraviolet the RainWing, an old favorite of hers - and headed back to Truthseeker's room. "Rumor, please, calm down. I could hear you two fighting from the library. Perhaps you could go find your other friends to tell your stories to? Or even better, perhaps you could write them down, and we could read them without our ears breaking," she said in a stern voice, one eyebrow arched. "Let your niece read her stories in peace."

Hurricane flopped back in her seaweed bed and sighed. Someday, she was getting out of the kingdom. If she hadn't enchanted that armband to limit her animus abilities, to make sure her powers didn't get out of hand, she could escape now.
Her head jerked up, and the scales on her foreleg flashed quickly. I could escape now, she thought, her eyes widening. She touched one talon to the silver-blue armband and thought, Enchant this armband so that I can take it off and put it back on at will, and touching it to my scales replaces all limits on my magic it previously possessed. The armband felt slightly looser, but there wasn't any obvious way of taking it off. She pulled at it, and it went through her arm and out the other side. Immediately after dropping it, a rush of power flooded her veins, and she nearly gasped aloud. Scouring the room, she found a satchel and a small sapphire in a chest. She picked up the armband, feeling the strength leave her again, and put it in the bag, then enchanted the sapphire so that if it was anywhere near her, it would keep her invisible if she wished. Her scales swiftly faded to a near-transparent shade, and she breathed out a small stream of bubbles. Let's go, she thought as she turned and swam out the door.

"Do you wanna come meet Lotus and Bear, and you can meet the cavewing Queen and princess!" she said excitedly...
