"Yell then," Knuckles rolled his eyes and left the cavern to scout around.
The landscape was rugged and desolate. Other than a few plants that looked edible and some bugs, there wanst much alive. The echidna climbed a bit, trying to get a better view of the island as a whole.

The dragon nodded weakly. "Y..es." She curled her tail tightly around one of her rear legs and shuddered, the black seemed to spread even more.

Knuckles returned, holding a few sprigs of some sort of plant. "Well, I can confirm that we're stranded and that everything looks the same. I have absolutely no clue where we are," he turned to Shell, setting the plant in front of her. "Eat this. As a heads up, they taste terrible and your gonna hate me for it, but you're gonna eat it anyways,"

Shell's nostrils flared as she opened her jaws and stuffed the plant inside. Anyone could tell she was holding back from spitting it out.
