Knuckles tore off the metal claws and touched the plates around Shell's wounds, sucking in a breath through fangs barred in a grimace. There was a solemn dullness to his gaze. "I'm so sorry... I let the same thing happen... again!" he whispered, knowing nobody could hear him over the waves at that volume. He looked at Clik urgently, summoning his emerald. "Give me a hand! We don't have much time!"
