Shell was hyperventilating, the wound was slowly turning an ugly black. She growled and slashed at the creatures forehead, where the blue emerald was lodged.

What he did know was basic scuba signals for 'ok' and 'I need a breather'. He signaled for the latter, jerking his thumb up, friegning exhaustion. It wasn't exactly a lie; he was tired mentally. He didn't think anybody would be against it at the rate the battle was going.

Shell saw from the corner of her vision the creature's tail snake towards Knuckles. She roared fiercely and swam in front of it, shielding Knuckles from the blow.

She signaled Ok.She looked at the dragon.she swam over and tried prying it off.Hearing a air bubble escape from it she continued.

She heard another bubble escape she started using the rest of the sword to pry it off.It popped off

Shell felt the blood dribbled from her mouth, she scooped up Clik and Knuckles, leaving the creature and emerald behind she used the last of her strength to fly them out of the water, back to the island's edges, and collapse.
